Participation Costs

Irrespective of host institution, the annual EM Food of Life participation costs amount to:

 

Non-EU student contribution to participation costs: € 8000 per year

 

EU student contribution to participation costs: € 4000 per year

 

Participation costs include:

 

  • Access to all facilities incl. ICT and laboratories
  • Obligatory student association fees
  • Introductory Week - subsistence costs
  • Joint Summer School - subsistence costs
  • Local language courses
  • Insurance
  • Administrative costs

Participation costs do not include:

 

  • Travel costs
  • Visa costs

For scholarship recipients, the annual participation costs will be deducted from the scholarship, i.e. no need for transferring the money. For self-funding students, the participation costs must be paid in upon application, and at the latest one one week after application deadline.
